Meet the Founder/CEO
LaShaundra Barnes
LaShaundra Barnes has always had a creative and artistic gift and passion. She got her start as a young child drawing pictures and portraits. In May 2021, LaShaundra graduated from Roosevelt University (Chicago, IL) with a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Graphic Design, as a single mother and non-traditional student. After graduating, LaShaundra set out to pursue her childhood dream of entrepreneurship.
Specializing in WordPress, LaShaundra taught herself how to design and manage her first website in 2017 when she launched her first blog. She managed her blog for 2 years and later interned as a web designer at Roosevelt University (Chicago, IL). During her internship, she designed a virtual art exhibit entitled, “Black Summer – Race, Resistance and Resilience.” (Click Here to View the exhibit website => www.roosevelt.edu/blacksummer).
In 2022 God divinely, gave her the vision to found Desired Haven Media. A Christian Web Design Agency specializing in WordPress and Brand Identity Design. Through this agency, LaShaundra desires to serve and honor Jesus Christ in every endeavor, be a light in the digital space and help show people the love of God.
